The School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMSS) is comprised of the Departments of Medical Biotechnologies (DBM), Molecular and Developmental Medicine (DMMS), and Medical, Surgical, and Neuroscience Sciences (DSMCN). These departments, each specializing in various medical fields, are interconnected through disciplinary affinity, teaching initiatives, and collaborative service management. They have jointly undertaken a three-year sustainability project aimed at optimizing the utilization of financial, instrumental, and human resources.
- The primary objective is to ensure the maintenance of high standards of quality, optimization, and effectiveness in the educational offerings across undergraduate and graduate degree programs, specialization schools, and doctoral programs.
- Activities associated with educational offerings and student support are overseen by several offices, including Educational Planning and Programming, the Student Services Office catering to biotechnologies, medicine, dentistry, and healthcare professions, the Specialization Schools Office, and the Access Procedures Office. The Le Scotte Campus is tasked with managing class schedules and allocating lecture halls.
